UDAIPUR, June 15 (TIWN): With an aim to energize state’s cultural ethos and to prompt the local artists to perform in a mass media level, before many years an FM radio relay center had been inaugurated at Udaipur Banduar area. It was the aim that the local singers and other artists related to this field of ‘art and culture’ will perform and exhibit their talents through this mass-media of FM.

But alike the common fate of state’s other alliances, this one is also left in inexcusable condition as such FM or radio stations are a matter of joke to the authorities. While in the name of FM radio center hefty amount of money had been invested and sanctioned from the centre but all are in vain. Another FM radio center can be found in same condition at Natun Bazaar, Amarpur.

It is to be mentioned that in the year 2011, Guwahati Prashad Bharati Deputy Director Mr. Boijo visited this place and assured to look after this centers. It was decided that the place will be all fine by setting its tower and networking system. According to the sources, within the month of October this FM Relay center will be stationed with all the dispositions and infrastructures.

Although it has been assured that this FM station will be connected by Agartala Radio station soon, but the fact is that from this connection no local artist will get the facility of performing directly here. So all the hopes which materialized before the inauguration time have been vanished and it seems that the state is like to be deaf and dumb in such issues and this is the way in which they like to run the state.
