AGARTALA, May 30 (TIWN): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Pradesh Committee on Friday rubbished CPI-M’s allegation, “Narendra Modi led BJP Government’s slogan of “Acche Din” turns into “Bure Din” in the one year’s tenure”. On Thursday CPI-M leader Khagen Das releasing the candidates’ lists for by-elections claimed that the one year rule of BJP govt. at the centre has only brought ‘bure din’ for the poor people of the nation.

However, rubbishing the statement of Das on Friday BJP Spokes Person Arun Kanti Bhowmik said, “The CPI-M and its Left front govt. here works only for their sake and not for the poor people of the state.” The statement has come after Ds claimed that the one year rule of NDA govt. has brought no respite for the common people of the nation as well as for the state here.

Bhowmik on Friday also claimed, “There is no politics with the rule of Modi govt. at the center because Modi ji wants ‘Team India’ where he allowed all people irrespective of any political party leaders.” Adding to that he also said, “The centrally sponsored schemes being implemented here by the Left front govt. only for the sake of its CPI-M party but not for the sake of common and poor people.”

Bhowmik said, “The ruling CPI-M is now worried with the emergence of BJP which was being supported by the entire nation during the past Loksabha election.”

“The emergence of BJP during the upcoming 2018 LS poll here in Tripura would be a major threat for the ruling CPI-M,” adding Bhowmik said emergence of BJP here in the state would bring a respite for the people from the hand of the ‘corrupted’ Left front govt.

“Corruption has rampant during the rule of Congress and CPI-M and its Left front govt.,” Bhowmik said on Friday.

He claimed, “There is no single allegation against the Modi govt. at the centre over corruption during the one year rule.”

However later talking in regard of the party candidates’ lists for by-elections in Tripura BJP State President Sudhindra Das Gupta said that he would recently go to Delhi and later coming back he would likely announce the candidates’ lists on June 5. BJP has already finalised the candidates to battle by-elections scheduled to be held on June 27, 2015, said Das Gupta.
