UDAIPUR, May 22 (TIWN): The Udaipur court on Friday convicts 3 rape accused identified as Raj Kishor Jamatia, Naresh Jamatia and Ananda Jamatia.

After they were produced before the court, they were convicted on-charge of raping minor girls at Kuphilong Bazaar under Killa Police Station on October 13, 2014. The court is scheduled to give the final verdict on Saturday.

The police then registered a complaint against the convicted on case number 31/ 2014 under 376 (D) of IPC act, confirmed sources. The police then investigated the issue and arrested the convicted, further added sources.

The incident took place at Kuphilong Bazaar of Udaipur sub-division when the two of the victims were returning through the market way after observing puja celebration of the area on October 13, 2014.

However, the families of the victims are now satisfied that finally the accused are going to be punished.
