KAMALPUR, MAY 21 (TIWN): Keeping its anti-customer attitude at full swing, the United Bank of India, Kamalpur branch not only harassed an aged family pensioner for loan even after providing employee guarantor, but also simply denied to keep her application after a prolonged assurance and preparation of three months. The humiliated, harassed and devastated family pensioner Mayarani Deb knocked to the Regional Manager for remedy.
One Mayarani Deb of Kalachari No. 2 area, receive her family pension bearing PPO number PEN2/TRIP/S/FAM/5024 from UBI kamalpur branch against her account number 0262010200943. During February this year, she contacted with the Bank authority for a personal loan. The authority instructed her to avail a government employee guarantor for the loan. Then she managed a health department staff Tanuj Pal as guarantor. Then the bank authority informed her that, the guarantor should be someone from her family otherwise the guarantor has to fixed deposit at least 30, 000 rupees. In all these hazards, a prolonged period of more than three months passed and then suddenly the bank authority denied giving Mayarani any loan. But the other banks in the subdivision clearly denounced of having any such rules that the guarantor should be from the family of the loaner. Now, Mayarani knocked to the Regional Manager for remedy of this harassment she had to suffer in the course.
