Belonia, May 17 (TIWN): Today on the occasion of the World Hypertension Day, Hepatitis foundation of Tripura, Belonia branch has organized one day long seminar at the Belonia sub-division Hospital Conference Hall.

The seminar was inaugurated by South Zilla Sabhadhipati Himanshu Roy. Addressing the programme, Dr. Pradeep Bhowmik said most of the people in the world are unaware about the suffering of the Hypertension. It is such a disease that can be the reason behind the kidney damage. He further said that It can happen to anyone irrespective of ages. When any one falls sick they must go for check up. He even urged the other doctors to volunteer the patient for the regular check up of their hypertension.

The seminar mainly focused to create the awareness among the masses about the Hypertension disease and educate the people about this Hypertension and about the Blood Pressure among the population of the state.

During the programme, South S. P Bahupada Chakraborty, SDMO Dr. Jagadish Namo along with others was present at the programme.
