AGARTALA, May 5 (TIWN): Bahujan Samajwadi Party (BSP) on Tuesday criticizes Left Front Government in Tripura for alleged failure to improve the standard of life despite fund flow from the centre. Addressing a press meet organized at T.B. Hall, leader of the party, Nakul Das told that, though the Left Front Government had completed many tenure in this small hilly State, but failed to improve the standard of life in the state.

Focusing the point, Mr. Das further told that, Tripura is one of the poorest states in the country where 67 per cent of the people live below poverty line. However, talking about bail of prime accused, Bimal Chakraborty in multicrore MGNREGA scam, BSP leader told that “The intentional negligence of police has led the scam-star Bimal Chakraborty to get escape from the bar.” Mr. Das further said, “It was a well master planned by the police who might have acted on behest of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar to Bimal free on bail.

About the pending wage of REGA workers, Das told that, the CPI-M Party, to get the full benefit in the TTAADC Election, the right of the workers in REGA was cut off and the fund is used in fulfilling the pocket of the leaders and candidates. While, Tripura secures top position for sixth time in MGnReGA, the real contributors for earning the credit, is deprived of their legal right.

Talking about the unemployment, focus was being laid on the vacancy of 45 thousand posts in various Government departments. The industries in Tripura gets worsen day by day which results in the rise of unemployment day by day. Apart from that the party also stressed on the recent scams, rape, crimes on women, recent murder of Kalpana Das, TTAADC Election.

On the other hand, BSP also blamed the opposition parties for not raising their heads as a substitute for the corrupted Left Front Government. The current leadership of the Congress and other opposition parties are desolately failed to deal with the ruling CPI (M) both during elections and after the post poll position- Mr. Das further added.
