SANTIRBAZAR, May 1 (TIWN): Another incident of rape has come to the light in Santirbazar and this time too it is no surprise another minor girl is the victim. This time the incident took place in Bagafa Lendanpara under Santirbazar Police Station. Now she is in Santirbazar District Hospital under Medical treatment.

A 12 years girl was raped by her sister’s husband Aniyam Reang in his own house  on last Wednesday at Landan Reang para ADC village under Santirbazar . A case had been registered in Santirbazar PS by her parents. The guilty Aniyam had not been arrested so far.

Rapists in Tripura are now enjoying the best of their time with the total collapse of police administration and more importantly the criminals having ruling party patronization. One after another rape incidents are being taken place and indeed the entire womanhood are now under serious threat. Mysteriously in most of the cases Woman Commission and its members are having nice time in air-conditioned rooms and cars roaming from one programme to another promoting the empty vessels of CPI-M Govt propaganda..

Indeed, recently rapes have increased considerably in India and Tripura is now ranked as No 1 state in the country as far as crimes against women are concerned.

Interestingly when all these incidents are being taken place in different parts of the state, Nari Samiti Santirbazar Unit give a deputation to SDPO Santirbazar to catch the culprit behind the incident. Though woman  Commission is simply playing puppet’s role in the hands of the Govt. None of its members have even taken time to visit the victims in hospitals nor do they take any interest of their medical treatment.
