Udaipur, April 28 (TIWN): On yet another negligence of the Tripura Police, one prisoner managed to escape from Udaipur Jail on Monday night showing a thumb to the police guard. The prisoner was identified as Tabikul Islam, resident of Comilla, Bangladesh.

Sources informed that on April 18th, Kakrabon Police had arrested Tabikul from Kishoreganj. He was accused of stealing gold ornaments and cross the border without any valid identity proof. Earlier he was produced before the Court where 14 days jail remand had been granted for him. But mysteriously on Monday night, Tabikul succeed to fleed away from the trap of the police.
