AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): CPI-M ruled Tripura cannot inch forward if there is unbridled corruption despite liberal assistance by the centre. The BJP national president Amit Shah said so while addressing a public meeting at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala on Monday. He is on a one-day tour in Tripura ahead of the elections of the Autonomous District Council scheduled on May 3.Shah said that during the prime minister ship of AB Vajpayee the DONER was formed. The present Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done so many things for the NE region and fund is not wanting. The Prime Minister is deputing ministers to go to the NE region at regular intervals. Besides high officials are also visiting here to monitor various developmental works. If the money is not spent judiciously by checking corruption the people will not be benefited. He exhorted the people to vote for the BJP candidates for a corruption-free TTAADC.He said that the union government has sanctioned money to the state government what they demanded, Manik Sarkar talks of MGNREGA that it will be stopped. But it’s a false allegation BJP will not end MGNREGA.During the 22 year rule of the CPI(M) leaders are not ashamed of saying that the state is a poor one. More quickly the CPI-M is removed from the state it will be great a relief for the people here.

He also said that the present CPI (M) government in Tripura is not paying proper attention to the scheduled caste, OBC and scheduled tribes. He also said that the Act East policy will benefit the NE states.
Shah criticized the Congress and its vice-president Rahul Gandhi saying it was quite natural for people like him who are “born with a silver spoon” not to see any positive change happening in the country since the BJP came to power. “Rahul baba can’t see the changes because he is wearing  Italian  glasses. Start wearing Hindustani glasses, and you will see the changes brought by the Narendra Modi government,” Shah said.

The BJP national general secretary  Ram Madhav said  that the BJP is emerging as the biggest political party in the world. It has the highest number of MPs in the country. He said BJP can only give relief to the people of the state and give new direction to the state under the rule of BJP.

Lets strengthen the hand  Narendra Modi so that the people of the state can taste the fruit of development.
