Evaluation of Madhyamik and H.S  exam papers begins on Monday

AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): Evaluation of the answer sheets of the Madhyamik and H.S (+2) exams has started on Monday. The evaluation of papers has begin on 6 centers in Agartala with Madhyamik papers at 5 centers namely Sishubihar School, Umakanta School, Netaji School, Bodhjung Girls School and Banividyapith School while the H/S examination papers evaluated at Tulsibati School. According the officials of the TBSE a total of 1200 teachers would be engaged to the evaluation of the answered scripts of the candidates. Besides, the process of taking the answered papers to the respective centre had already began. Altogether 29,214 candidates appeared in Higher Secondary examinations while as many as 49,089 candidates appeared for Madhyamik examinations this year, said the officials.

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education had conducted Madhyamik Exam 2015 and H.S (+2) exam on 2nd March and 3rd March respectively. Madhyamik examination was started on 3rd March and continued up to 28th March. The H.S (+2) exam was started on 2nd march and continued up to 1 st April 2015. Along with that Madrasa Madhyamik Pariksha and Madrasa (Adil) exam started from 3rd march and continued upto 4th April and 7th April respectively. In H.s (+2) stage, Madrasa Fazil (Theology) exam and Madrasa Fazil (Arts )started  from 2nd March and continue upto 27th March and 1st April 2015..

 It is to be mentioned here that Tripura board school education is known as TBSE. Every year there are large numbers of students who appear for the examination for both class 10th and 12th.Tripura board of secondary education was established in 1973, under the act known as Tripura board of secondary education act, 1973 as passed by Tripura legislative assembly. The board started its functioning from 1st of January 1976.

The board is responsible for in framing rules and regulations required to run the university board, syllabus or curriculum and other necessary guidelines that are responsible for smooth and active conduct of the business board. Before all these moves, the high and higher secondary schools of Tripura came under the West Bengal board of education. This affiliation under the West Bengal board did not result in providing education to the entire lot. Soon after the setting up of Tripura board, examinations were conducted under the same. After the affiliation, the board of education decided to adopt the syllabus of central board of education for Tripura Board Madhyamik and higher secondary examinations.
