Agartala, April 24 (TIWN): Two days science fair starts at Bodhjung Higher Secondary School on Friday. The fair was inaugurated by Pradip Kumar Chakraborty and Director of Education Department and Amulya Kumar Reang, District Education Official was present as Special Guest. In the second consecutive day, Professor Mihir Deb will be present as Chief Guest.

Delivering the importance of science fair, Director of Education Department told that, “A science fair experiment is generally a competition where contestants present their science project results in the form of a report, display board, and models that they have created. Science fairs allow students in grade schools and high schools to compete in science and technology activities.”

Further, Mr. Chakraborty also stressed that science fair is a significant step of educational institution through which an intensified effort is led to flourish and enrich the knowledge and skills on application of science of student. He informed participating in science fair projects helps develop feeling of confidence and competence among students and fosters a spirit of scientific inquiry.

Whereas, the organizers of the fair told that, the fair is organized to move the children towards the scientific inventions and to attract them towards creative field. Not only that the fair will also serve as a path to free the future generation from the evils and superstitions.
