Agartala, April 20 (TIWN):After completion of computer data – base of teachers more 3500 teachers will be transferred in second phase. Meanwhile the education department had completed computerized data – base of more than twenty thousand teachers.
Due to lack of data many teachers posted in some schools over more than two decades could not be transferred. When it came to the notice of the department, initiative was taken to prepare data entry of each teachers. If the entry once completed than the department can have details of service records of each teachers. After completion of ADC election and summer vacation the notification of second phase transfer of 3500 teachers will be issued.
The department has issued order against those teachers to appear before medical board within seven days who did not join at newly posted school. According to report many teachers who were transferred in the first phase went on long medical leave. Besides the education department summoned detail report from all school inspectorate the list of names of teachers yet to take release orders.
It is alleged teachers belonging to ruling CPIM party were transferred just for name sake. Whereas those who are anti – party were transferred at far flung schools. This have caused serious resentment among large section of teachers.
