AGARTALA, April 19 (TIWN): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sadar District Committee submitted deputation to the all DMs of eight district of the state regarding their four point charter of demands, here on Saturday.
Sadar District Committee president Ratan Ghosh said that the state government has been fooling the REGA workers since for a long period of time and has gained a momentum on it, while the REGA workers are deprived at large, he added.
The 22-year misrule has resulted in the state being labeled the least developed state in the country. Corruption has mushroomed in every sphere, he claimed.
He also criticized the tight-lipped gesture of Chief Minister Manik Sarkar over the increasing crimes and vowed to intensify party’s agitation across the state. He also urged the public to condemn the role of Chief Minister, who also holds the Home portfolio.
The CPI (M) led state government is only giving lectures in rallies and programmes regarding TTAADC development. But the reality is that the state government is not doing anything to solve the issue. Instead of doing anything the state government is busy in playing dirty politics. At present from minister to CPIM party workers remain deep necked in corruption, Ratan Ghosh added.
