KAILASHAHAR, April 18 (TIWN): Unequal distribution of power at Kailasahar Municipal areas appears created tension in the respective sub-division at Unakoti district. Though an additional 12 crore rupees had been sanctioned for the proper implementation of power supply, yet no fruitful step had been sorted out.

Sources informed that the deal to cover the whole Municipal areas was sanctioned five years back. But still no progress of work is witnessed. Therfore the areas under Municipal Council are facing acute power crisis. In one area, the loadshedding prevails for 2 hours, in other areas it will be 4 or 6 hours. Among them, the most affected area is 15 no Ward. Here the line covers 14 km under 4 no. grids, faces severe power crisis. So, the people demand to cover the whole are under 1 grid.

Though administration is being informed about the sufferings of the people, but no steps had been taken yet.

On the other hand, electricity crisis in the repective areas has worsened due to prolonged dry spells. Though, With a 730 mw power project in Tripura, the power department demands that crisis issues s are expected reduce in near future. But the scenario of subdivisions depicts another picture. The State Government is playing step- motherly attitude with the innocent people of the State.

Without developing basic infrastructure, busy in scam politics. Though State Government claims that the concerned departments under their tenure are fully corruption free. But the recent data tabled on the Assembly sketched out a total vice- versa figure.  Under constant protests against the ongoing 'Scams Festival' State Govt and the ruling party CPI (M) seems to have bowed down.

Though officially Chief Minister Manik Sarkar endpin(M) State Secretary Bijan Dhar have denied any involvement of CPI(M) party and its 'Brand man' Manik Sarkar in these scams or any of the accused persons, recent activities clearly send the message that State Govt is highly concerned about all that are going on. Putting the blame on opposition and media and terming the discoveries of multirole scams in different departments as the effort of 'Imperialists' may give the ruling party and its so called 'Brand Manik' dividends in casting votes in the rural belts; But the power of truth is such that, someday it spills out spontaneously and no ruler however powerful cannot suppress truth.
