Agartala, April 17 (TIWN): To save party and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar from further embarrassments, CPI-M expelled Jiten Das from party for involvement in murder of wife Kalpana Das. Mrs Kalpana Das was brutally murdered on Thrusday morning at residence.

The brutal murder incident took place on Thursday at Ranirbazar area had of course revealed several allegations against the accused husband Jiten Das, who is a CPI-M leader. It revealed that due to handsome bank balance of Kalpana and due to an extra illegal affair with Jiten’s brother Lt. Ratindra Das’ wife Shibani Sen CPI-M leader Jiten killed his wife Kalpana Das.

Besides, it was also revealed that Jiten often used to torture Kalpana due to her hefty bank balance. Kalpana was a retired woman and later she joined one private school as a teacher.

Earlier Jiten Das was Congress worker and later during the last assem,bly election here at the state Jiten joined the ruling CPI (M) after his closeness with Minister Manik Dey.

But it is also to be mentioned here that the incident has brought another major embarrassment for the ruling CPIM party here.
