KHOWAI, April 17 (TIWN): Angered by the inhuman attitude adopted by school teachers of Jambura HS School, guardians lodged a complaint against the school Head Master and other teachers of the school in the police station here today.

Locals here at Jambura were dissatisfied with the attitude of the Jambura HS School since a long time and the inhuman treatment meted out to a 7th standard school student today forced them to complain to the police against the school teachers.

According to the guardians, Joydip Das, a class 7 student of the school was beaten up brutally by a fellow class mate Akash Das during the 4th period. The beating was so severe that Joydip  felt unconscious in the class and remained cataleptic till 3pm when the class restarted after the tiffin hours. Liton Das, the History teacher instead of taking him to hospital, brought him out of the class and kept in the open sunlight untill he was noticed by a passerby who visited the school for some personel work. Seeing the student lying in the open sky, the gentleman asked the reason for the same from the Head Master of the school but only to be surprised to learn from the HM of the school some unbelievable reasoning. HM Bipul Das replied that such things are very common in the school and only the students are to be blamed for these. Surprisede by the answer, the gentleman seeing the boy student languishing in the open sun took him to Khowai hospital.

At around 5:30pm only the boy got back his conscious in the hospital after he was given a saline by Dr. Arnab Debbarma, the doctor on duty in the hospital. When the matter spread in the locality, the guardians got together and lodged a formal complaint with the Khowai PS urging for farm action against the teachers for their inhuman attrocities on the school students. The police promised to look into the matter seriously.
