AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN): With the general election to Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) knocking at the door CPI-M leader Goutam Das on Thursday brought a series of allegation against the BJP Pradesh Committee calling the BJP leader and RSS circulator Swami Chinmaya Ananda Maharaj a criminal.

As part of his allegation CPI-M leader on Thursday briefed a series of incidents that occurred across the state in wake of the ADC poll, where the BJP allegedly made an attack on the CPI-M cadres.

“On April 14 the BJP Divisional Committee at Udaipur Atharobola had managed to bring a criminal like RSS circulator and BJP leader Swami Chinmaya Ananda Maharaj  to inaugurate Goria Festival,” adding to that Das also said, “He had used the stage of regional festival on the very day to speak on politics.”

Making an allegation against Swami Chinmaya Ananda Maharaj  Das said, “During the year 2011 a case was filed against him on charge of raping a minor girls at his Ashram.”

Das also alleged, “A contention occurred between the CPI-M supporters and the BJP candidates at Dhamcherra Jampui ADC area on April 14, after the CPI-M supporters seeks BJP candidate Khudiram Reang to take a permission from the police in order to arrange a political gathering in his house.” Briefing the incident Das alleged that following this a section of BJP supporters attacked one CPI-M supporter Goutam Reang who also protested the public gathering of the BJP at Khudiram’s house.

“BJP supporter Neuton Reang and Binoy Reang had beaten Goutam Reang brutally and left him seriously injured and along with they had also beaten up Goutam’s wife and married daughter Tamirung Reang (26),” alleged Das. He said recently the injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital.

However on Thursday Das condemned the violence allegedly discovered by the BJP during the press conference held at party headquarter.

Das also alleged that a section of BJP supporters are trying to create unrest in wake of ADC poll.

Besides, it may be recalled here that earlier this year the BJP Pradesh Committee had also raised a series of allegation against the ruling CPI-M cadres for making an attack on the BJP supporters during their membership drive at several places across the rural Tripura.
