Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee declared the candidates for the ensuing TTAADC Election

AGARTALA, April 14 (TIWN): Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee on Monday announced the name of the candidates for the ensuing TTAADC Election. On the respective day, State President, Surajit Dutta while addressing a press meet at the camp office told that the list was earlier prepared on April 12. After submitting nomination on Saturday, the party had announced the name of the candidates, here today.

In the meantime, Trinamool congress had geared up for the ensuing election. It is to be mention here that the TTAADC election will be conducted on May3 where, 58,554 voters including 3, 75,117 women are eligible to exercise their franchise. Counting will be held on May 6," The TTAADC was formed in January 1982 under the Seventh Schedule of the Constitution and later its powers were promoted by amending the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution in August 1984 to protect and safeguard the political, economic and cultural interests of the tribals. 
The tribal council constitutes two third of the state territory and home to the tribals who form one third of the population.
