AGARTALA, April 12 (TIWN): Police are accompanying the criminals to continue their offences. Subhash Chandra Sarkar who had been arrested in the guilt of ‘attempt to rape’ had also been released. Accordingly, People of Amtali gave deputation in Amtali P.S.

It is to be mentioned that Subhash Chandra Sarkar on January 15 attempted to seduce a women of 50 years namely Usha Rani Mallik; and when her daughter-in-law came to save her then she was also being tried to seduce by him. Fortunately the local people approached at the place and saved these 2 women. After that event, Subhash Chandra Sarkar was sent in lock up; and a case had been registered on his name(Case no: 11/15;  4/S  325/354(B)/376/511) in Amtali P.S.  But recently he has also  

According to the local people the police have taken a huge amount of bribe to manage his bail. After that particular event Harimohon Das (SDPO, Amtali P.S.) sustained the people by saying that Subhash would not get relief. But ironically Subhash had been given bail. According to the sources, weak-forwarding and weak-case diaries are the causes which initialized the Bail order of Subhash.

Now if this would be the attitude of police both towards victims and criminals; victims will always be victimized and the criminals will not bear any fear within them. Amtali local people demanded the attention of CJM, Tripura High Court Dipak Gupta so that SDPO Harimohon Das, O/C Pranajit Ghosh and the investigating officer Shashanka Das would get the punishment as soon as possible.
