Udaipur, April 12 (TIWN):18 years girl namely Priya Begam is missing from April 4. A written complaint has been registered by Priya Begam’s uncle Md. Baluyar Hossain, in Women Police Station against 5 persons namely Habil Mia, Alkach Mia, Kala Mia, Malek Mia, Hasina Begam.
But after 7 days passage of complaining, no action has been taken on the part of the police department of Udaipur. The family members of Priya Began went again to the Women Police Station on Saturday.
Priya was reading in class 11 in Udaipur Girls H.S. School. From the morning of April 4, Priya was missing and after searching her so much by own attempts, the family members of Priya went to the Women Police Station on 5/04/2015.
But not getting any response from the side of the police they started to find Priya Begam by their own strives. Today, with so many evidences (such as recording by phone and other witnesses) they came to the Women Police Station of Udaipur. The job of police is doing by the public which is really showing a downcast condition of Police department of Udaipur.
On April 6 Baluyar Hossain (Priya Begam’s uncle) was being blackmailed by phone from various numbers. One such call came from Kala Mia and his wife by saying that they would say about his niece if he can arrange Rs-10 lakhs for them. And they also said Priya began has already become the wife of Habil Mia, so if they give them Rs-10 lakhs they will arrange a social marriage for both Priya Begam and Habil Mia. But what is the present status of Priya and where is she nobody knows in her family.
The family members of Priya are helpless now. Police department should not be so inattentive especially in such sensitive cases. People who are blackmailing for money may do anything to her, may take her life too.
