The owners of rubber garden who invested in a huge for rubber plantation and its cultivation are now in dismay. Owners of rubber plants are at loss of 25,000 to 35,000 thousand rupees per a single tree.

During the last few weeks storm caused havoc for the farmers, cultivators and accordingly they are going through various losses. Rubber-businessmen are also taking share the same loss. Storm tore down many rubber gardens. One of the owners of Rubber garden, resident of West Khumpuilwang said that they have to invest a huge amount behind each rubber plant. Every tree till maturation costs 30,000 to 35,000. Thus it’s really inflexible to bear for a rubber gardener if many trees together fall down.

Moreover it has been noticed the trees which fell down were matured plants, some of them had already started to produce rubber. In this condition losing of rubber trees has been become a matter of despair for these rubber businessman at Khumpuilwang.
