 Madhyamik and H.S (+2) examination concluded peacefully: Evaluation of papers to start from April 27

AGARTALA, April 8 (TIWN): The Madhyamik and H.S (+2) examination conducted by Tripura Board of Secondary education ended peacefully. President of TBSE, Mihir DebRoy greeted every sphere of the society for their helping hands in the recently concluded examination. However, the evaluation of papers will be started from April 27.

Tripura Board of Secondary Education had conducted Madhyamik Exam 2015 and H.S (+2) exam on 2nd March and 3rd March respectively. Madhyamik exam was started from 3rd March and continued up to 28th March. The H.S (+2) exam was started from 2nd march and continued up to 1st April 2015. Along with that Madrasa Madhyamik Pariksha and Madrasa (Adil) exam started from 3rd March and continue upto 4th April and 7th April respectively. In H.S (+2) stage, Madrasa Fazil (Theology) exam and Madrasa Fazil (Arts) exam will start from 2nd March and continue upto 27th March and 1st April 2015. Altogether 29, 214 candidates appeared in Higher Secondary examinations while as many as 49,089 candidates had been registered to be appear in Madhyamik examinations this year.

 It is to be mentioned here that Tripura board school education is known as TBSE. Every year there are large numbers of students who appear for the examination for both class 10th and 12th.Tripura board of secondary education was established in 1973, under the act known as Tripura Board of Secondary Education Act, 1973 as passed by Tripura Legislative Assembly. The board started its functioning from 1st of January 1976.

The board is responsible for in framing rules and regulations required to run the university board, syllabus or curriculum and other necessary guidelines that are responsible for smooth and active conduct of the business board. Before all these moves, the high and higher secondary schools of Tripura came under the West Bengal board of education. This affiliation under the West Bengal board did not result in providing education to the entire lot. Soon after the setting up of Tripura board, examinations were conducted under the same. After the affiliation, the board of education decided to adopt the syllabus of central board of education for Tripura Board Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations.
