AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): There has been allegation against three police constable of Manpathar Out Post located at Birchandra Manu under Santir Bazar for misusing their powers.

According to sources, three police constables namely Ishwar Biswas, Rakesh Hossian and Manoj Pandey demands large amount from the drivers in the name of vehicle searching. After being assaulted by the three police personnel one driver namely Ranjan Debbarma filed a case against the three police at Santirbazar on Tuesday.

Ranjan Debbarma demanded immediate arrest of the three police constables, the source added.

After the issue came to lime light several questions are being raised by the common mass over the role of police.
