Apart from that the amount of Khas land at present in the State is estimated to be 155124.29 acres. Out of which 39,041 persons had captured 147278.56 acres.  Though the Government paid special attention for development of – infrastructure, economic and education, but there are more miles to go. Necessary initiatives will be taken for providing basic infrastructural facilities for communication like all – weather road, telecommunication, health care facility, electrical power supply, safe drinking water and sanitation, irrigation etc in the uncovered areas in priority also.

However, but it is mentionable here that at present from minister to CPIM party workers allegedly remained deep necked in corruption. The uninterrupted 21year stint in power seems to have taken a toll on the financial transparency of the Left Front administration in Tripura.

Corruption in implementation of rural development schemes continues unabated. There is a state government of Tripura which allegedly eats up all the money which comes from the central government for development.
