Slow Progress of Rail Line Construction from Bagma to Chandrapur : NFR claims work on schedule

Udaipur, Tepania, March 29 (TIWN) : The construction of ‘Bagma to Chandrapur Railway line’ is progressing very slowly and has stopped after reaching Tepania. Local people are seemed to be unhappy with this slow progress of the work, but the Railway site in-charge was satisfied with the ‘trolley test drive’ on the newly made ‘track’ which held on last Sunday. The local habitants said, for more than a year back, Badal Chowdhury (Former Finance Minister) announced that the station will be made at Tepania and the local people will be benefited from it. But this is now becoming a matter of fantasy for local residents, instead of completing the full work the line could exceed only 50 meters since then. While talking to TIWN correspondent, the site in-charge P. Pratik said very confidently, “Our target is to complete our work from Matabari to Silchar before the end of December 2015, and before 2016 people will get their Rail line completed.”

But there is a huge difference between the comments of the local people on this work progression and the site-in-charge’s comment. Hopefully by December this work will be completed as per NFR officials.
