Agartala, March 26 (TIWN): All Tripura Employees’ Co-Ordination Committee (TECC) will organize one day long strike on the first week of July, 2015 against continues deprivation of the state government employees salaries as per the central pay scale.
Addressing to the media persons at Colonel Chowmuhani president of TECC Kanulal Dabnath said that to get the salary as per the central pay scale is a long term demand of the state government employees. Now to avoid this issue the state government has brought a new strategy by celebrating the 40th anniversary of “HAGABA” Co-Ordination’s continuous strike ‘against the central government’, whether this “HAGABA” Co-ordination itself took birth in 1993.
Moreover, the state government is saying from the beginning that Tripura is a part of the Central deprivation. But in reality the 13th Pay commission sanctioned 182 percent extra money from the 12thPay commission by showing themselves as a part of the central government. Including a part of central budget, gap-grant and the state government’s own income will stand near about 44634 crore rupees in between the years of (2015/16 to 2019-20). And the state budget will reach hardly to 36091 crore excluding 10 percent extra amounts. And 6,000 crore may reach at the highest including the central pay grade pay etc. in total. So, as per the records the state government is lying to its people and trying to make fool as always, Kanulal Dabnath added.
As, a result the Tripura Employees Co-Ordination Committee has decided to sit on a strike on July first week to protest against the long ongoing negative attitude of the state government to its hardworking employees.
