Udaipur, March 17 (TIWN): District level Tripura Statehood Day celebration held at Gomati District Sports Complex ground, Udaipur 6.30pm on Monday.
District Level Statehood Day Celebration,2015 has been started at District Sports Complex Ground Udaipur for 3 days (from 16th to 18th March). Many stalls has been erected on behalf of the Government, and various cultural programmes are being held by the teams, from the all parts of Tripura.
The programme was inaugurated by Naresh Jamatia (Minister for Forest and Rural development, excluding Panchayet Election) and other dignitaries were also presented as Suniti Saha(Gomati Zilla Parishad ), Sonal Goyel(DM Gomati), Ajit Debnath(SDM Udaipur).
It is a mater of regret that the Statehood day falls on 21st January every year, but in Gomati District it is observed on 16th to 18th March 2015.
40 numbers of Govt departments opened their stall & exhibiting items.. Culture program, quiz competition , sit & draw competition prize distribution program will be held on 18th march- on the closing day. Inauguration public attendance is pathetic due to ongoing Madhyamik & H.S exams.
