AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): In a shocking road mishap two persons were critically injured at Reshambagan area under East Agartala Police Station, here today.

According to police, one Bike bearing number TR01-F-8141 while proceeding towards Khayerpur from Agartala side collided with one mini-bus bearing number TR01-1307 which was coming from opposite direction at Reshambagan area under East Agartala Police Station.

 As, a result the bike rider of TR01-F-8141 Gopal Debnath (47) and the pillion rider namely Tapan Chakraborty (49) both resident of West Noyabari received serious injuries.

After getting the information police personnel from East Agartala Police Station rushed to the spot and immediately shifted the two injured persons to GBP hospital where in the attending doctors said that the condition of the injured persons are stable.

The driver of the mini-bus fled away after the incident. A specific case has been registered in this regard and investigation is on, said police.
