Agartala, March 13 (TIWN): Two Bangladesh national along with an Indian national who were apprehended on Thursday for processing Indian pan card by CISF and police of immigration wing was produced in court today( Friday). It may be mentionable here that Kasam Mia (23) and Sourab Mia (24) of Brahmanbari, Bangladesh was apprehended at the immigration gate when they were going to board an Spice Jet flight.
The Indain national Subhankar Das (21) is from Bishalghar, he was also accompanying with both Bangladesh nationals. All three were handed over to Airport police station.
Talking to TIWN, OC of Agartala police station Firoz Mia said seeing the suspicious movement of two Bangladesh national at the airport, police with help of CISF jawans took both at the lounge for questioning. Replies given by both was contradictory, later both confessed they are were Bangladesh were going to Kolkata.
After frisking both security agency found from them PAN card, Ration, voter I – cards and some indiscriminating documents were found from both. During questioning they informed that there Indian counterpart from Bishalghar was taking them to Kolkata to have an Indian passport.
It may be mentioned here that a fake passport racket was operational in the state and Bangladeshi national manages to have Indian passort. A similar incident was reported from Gomati district, after an Indian passport was issued for a Bangladesh national. After investigation police found the passport was issued in the name of an Indian citizen, Mustak Miah of Khilpara village, under R K Pur PS, in Udaipur. The photograph, however, was of the Bangladeshi.
