KAMALPUR, March 4 (TIWN): Kamalpur division of Water Resource left no stone unturned to suppress the huge embezzlement in different works. To ensure the suppress of the facts, the division is delaying in providing information sought through RTI by a citizen.

Recently a citizen sought some information regarding different works of Water resource division under MGNREGA and other schemes. Now, in those works huge embezzlements occurred during 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 fiscals. And implementing officers as well as local people’s representatives were hand-in-gloves in those embezzlements. So to suppress the facts of embezzlement, the division is trying to avoid providing information even long after the stipulated period. Now that citizen is going to knock shortly the State Commission.
