KAMALPUR, March 3 (TIWN): The up surging Namo-wave hit this Indo-Bangla border adjacent sub-division of Kamalpur greatly. Both the Congress and Trinamool Congress received massive jolt as the existing Block Congress President and TMC District Executive Secretary resigned their parties to join BJP. In separate press releases the leaders demanded the Congress and TMC as parties with diminishing possibilities.
Today the Block Congress President Prasanta Sinha and Trinamool District Executive Secretary Paritosh Pal demanded that resigning their existing parties they would join hands with BJP. They described the non-political activities and aimless propagandas would never be able to oust the CPIM from power in the state. Only strong political and ideological party like BJP could achieve the goal. In this context, they find no better way to join BJP and strengthen the party. However, according to political analysts this move by two leaders would not affect the traditional political scenario of Congress-CPIM direct rivalry in the sub-division much.
