AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): On yet another negligence of the Tripura jail police, one prisoner managed to escape from the Agartala GB pant hospital showing a thumb to the police guard. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning. The jailbird was identified as Sunil Debbarma. The New Capital Complex Police filed a case against the prisoner today.

Talking to TIWN today the GB outpost OC Himadri Sarkar informed that the prisoner Sunil Debbarma was admitted to GB Pant Hospital on Monday morning, but today at around 6: 45 am the prisoner managed to escape from the hospital, inspite of jail guard infront of the prisoner’s ward. However the incident today has triggered a huge resentment among the common mass of the state while the negligence of the jail police today has raised a severe question among the public.

Police further informed that the jail police was supposed to inform the GB out Post police in regard of the admission of a prisoner at the hospital, but this time no police personnel of the concerned police station was informed about it. As a result the police was unknown of it. While on the other the Bishalgarh Jail authority has deployed some of its guards at the hospital to keep eye on the admitted prisoner Sunil Debbarma. However but today leaving no stone unturned the prisoner managed to escape from the hospital.
