TBSE’s Higher Secondary exams started

Agartala, March 2 (TIWN): Higher Secondary (+2) stage examinations- 2015 of Tripura Board of Secondary Examination including Madrasa Fazil (Theology and Arts) were started today.

No incident of expulsion was reported till 2.30 during the exam period, said President of TBSE- Prof. Mihir Deb today.

“I have visited few examination centers including Mohanpur, Kamalghat, MTB School and UK Academy (Bengali) while the Secretary of TBSE visited Shishu Bihar School, UK Academy (English). Everything was going on in peaceful atmosphere”, said Deb.

He further stated that, today was the first day of examinations and the candidates today appeared in examination for Bengali, Hindi, Lusai, Mizo and Kokborok subjects which was started from 12 pm and continued till 3.15 pm.

As many as 29, 214 higher secondary candidates of 353 schools appeared in the examinations. Among them a total of 16,873 candidates are male and 12,341 are female, he added.

Altogether 54 centers have been opened across the state for higher secondary examination. This year, the higher secondary examinations will be continued till April 01, next, said Deb.

Before starting the examination, the candidates were spotted busy with last minute revision around some examination centers in Agartala. The Madhyamik examinations of TBSE will be started from tomorrow and would continue till April 7, next.
