Agartala, February 26 (TIWN): Higher Secondary and Madhyamik examinations of Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) are scheduled to be start from March 2 and 3, next respectively. Altogether 29, 214 candidates would appear in Higher Secondary examinations while as many as 49,089 candidates have been registered to be appeared in Madhyamik examinations this year.
A total of 54 centers would be set up for the Higher Secondary examinations whereas, Madhyamik examination would be held in 75 centers across the state. This year, the percentage of HS candidates has been hiked by 16.25% while percentage of Madhyamik candidates has been hiked by 5.67% compared to the previous year.
The Higher Secondary examinations would be continued till April 01 while the Madhyamik examinations would end on April 7. Candidates of 353 and 924 schools would appear for Higher Secondary and Madhyamik examinations across the respectively.
Among the total Higher Secondary candidates, 16,873 are male while 12,341 are female while as many as 25, 149 male and 23, 940 candidates would appear in Madhyamik examinations.
Altogether 17 centers for Higher Secondary examinations and 24 centers for Madhyamik examinations will be opened in Agartala. The Tripura Board of Secondary Education would make effort to announce the results of both Higher Secondary and Madhyamik examination by June 10.
