Udaipur, February 24 (TIWN): In a shocking road mishap one person was killed and one woman was critically injured at Maharaniherapur area under R.K. Pur police station, here today.

According to sources, Laxmi Rani Das (50) while crossing the Udaipur-Amarpur road along with her Cow was dashed by a bike bearing number TR03-A-7672 which was proceeding towards Udaipur from Amarpur side the rider namely Bir Sadhan Jamatia (32) lost control of the bike and dashed the Cow and Laxmi Rani. As a result the pillion rider namely Jai Sadhan Jamatia died on the spot and left Laxmi Rani Das critically injured.

After getting the information police personnel from R.K.Pur police station rushed to spot and immediately shifted Laxmi Rani Das to hospital where in the attending doctors said that her condition was stable now.

The rider of the bike namely Bir Sadhan Jamatia resident of Tinbariya under R.K. Pur police station managed to flee away from the spot. A specific case has been registered in this regard and a hunt in on to nab accused Bir Sadhan Jamatia, said cops.
