Dalapati ADC village gets new PHC: Anti-Left parties attempt for unrest situation: Health Ministe

Agartala/Ambassa, February 23 (TIWN): Keeping the upcoming ADC election in mind, the anti-Left political parties are trying to engender an unrest situation across the state, said Health Minister Badal Chowdhury in a programme at Dalapati ADC village of Hatimara in Gandacherra sub-division, here today.

After inaugurating a 10-bed Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Dalapati ADC village, at the time when the Left Front ruled state government is trying to remove the word ‘remote’ by implementing different welfare plans across the state, the tribal based political parties are attempting to demolish peace and unity by adopting new demand for separate state, said Choudhury.

He further said, “The state government is implementing different welfare schemes in rural and urban areas equally by ensuring drinking water, healthcare services, road communication, education facilities and providing BPL cards to the needy families.”

In such situation, “The people of the state must be aware from this kind of proposal”, said the health minister by making an appeal to cast the votes in favour of Left Front candidates in the upcoming ADC election.

Speaking in the inaugural ceremony at Dalapati ADC village, which was badly affected by last malaria epidemic, District Magistrate (DM) of Dhalai- Dr. Milind Ramteke appealed the villagers to be attentive of malaria in every moment.

Giving an advance alert message to the villagers for diarrhea in next two or three months in the area, he further requested the residents, health employees, Asha workers and Anganwadi staffs to be aware to stay away from it.

Altogether 720 families belong to Tripuri community of Dalapati ADC village will be benefited by this PHC. The state government initiated to set up the PHC at a cost of Rs. 3, 58, 69, 123 in the year 2012. The construction of the PHC was done by the Ambassa circle of Public Works Department.

MLA Lalit Mohan Tripura, Director of Family Welfare and Preventive Medicine Department- Dr. Kanulal Bhowmik, BAC chairman Patiram Tripura, SDM of Gandacherra, BDO, circle engineers of PWD also attended the inaugural ceremony.
