Agartala, February 15 (TIWN): Tripura Chemical Society (TCS) conducted its 14th biennial conference and a prize distribution ceremony at Agartala Press Club here today.

  Professor SC Mandal, Department of Pharmaceutical of Jadavpur University and the chief guest inaugurated the programme by lighting ceremonial lamp while the programme was presided over by the president of Tripura Chemical Society- Dr. B Saha.

The welcome address was delivered by the general secretary of TCS- Dr. UC De while the Director of Kolkata Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology- Dr. R Debnath graced the dais as special guest.

During the inaugural session, the chief guest Prof. SC Mandal unveiled the bulletin of Tripura Chemical Society and distributed awards and certificates among the members of TCS. The presidential address was delivered by the president of TCS- Dr. B Shaha.

General Secretary of TCS- Dr. UC De submitted the annual report of the organization while Treasurer Dr. S Debnath presented annual income-expenditure report in the business session respectively.
