SABROOM, Jan 5 (TIWN): A 75 years old man named Manindra Debnath died after a vehicle ran over him.

The incident happened on Sunday evening in Kalachara market area after a goods carrying tipper car hit him.

Debnath was rushed to the local hospital but the doctor declared him dead.

With the tragic death of the senior citizen, local people expressed their extreme resentment and concerns. 

Vehicle driver Rahul Saha managed to escape from the spot.

Manu Bazar police started an investigation in this case.
