AGARTALA, Jan 3 (TIWN): Tripura BJP’s party office was attacked by miscreants in Pratapgarh, in the capital city Agartala. According to party members who were present on the scene, a group of miscreants from outside suddenly organized the attack and vandalized the party office. Bikes were damaged, and the office premise was ransacked.

“We organized Kali puja here and went out for immersion of the Kali idol. While returning, immediately, we faced the attack. We appeal to the government to take strict action against the hooligans involved in this incident,” said the party activist.

Police personnel came to the spot, and started an investigation in this case. One person who was injured in the attack, was hospitalized.

However, the BJP party refused the angle of any internal fight that could have caused this incident. The party accused the opposition and said, “Either opposition or influenced by the oppositions’ instigation this attack was organized. Because the opposition always discarded the Sushashan provided by the BJP government.”
