KAMALPUR, Dec 19 (TIWN): A police officer appeared frustrated, and upset as he was struggling to remove the road blockers which stopped all vehicle movements in Halahali, Kamalpur on Thursday. Their demand was that two people who were arrested in ABC Brick Factory’s chimney blast incident — should be released without any bond. The police officer told the agitators that release was left upon the court but he asked, whether they feel any pain for the victims or not. ‘5 people died and 2 are left critical. Doesn't it make you sad? Is it nothing?”, the officer asked the road blockaders.
“If the owner of the company carries negligence — then it’s punishable! If he does not have proper documents, he is at fault! The owner has the responsibility that all paperwork should be done properly,” the cop said.
“This road blockade is causing tremendous problems for people. They are suffering. Vehicle drivers, consumers, patients all are struggling here,” he added. “I appeal to you to please vacate the road for common people.”
