AGARTALA, Dec 3 (TIWN): Job seekers on Wednesday staged protest demanding immediate recruitment under the police department, which is getting delayed leaving the unemployed youths hopeless.
A protest was staged by the job seekers in front of Inspector General of Prison with a unique gesture. The agitators were holding plates in their hands, forwarding their hands before the camera -- which meant they were begging for their livelihoods.
The protesters were holding banners written -- when the examination date would be declared, informing that they already passed the physical exam in 2022 and how long they have to wait as it now has crossed three-years since the physical tests were taken.
