AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): Tipra Motha legislator cum Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma who shares the BJP dominant cabinet led by CM Manik Saha proposed that the Home Ministry should be given to Tipra Motha party candidate.

“I am not saying give the Home Ministry to me! But I am saying to give it to Tipra Motha. We are ready. Within three months we are going to fix the law and order,” added Debbarma.

“He (Manik Saha) is the Boss! We are appealing for stronger actions,” he said, referring to the ongoing clashes going on in the ADC between two alliance partners.

He also said that Tipra Motha is constantly blamed for violence but it’s not Tipra Motha who started that.

Debbarma further alleged that police are failing to take necessary steps. “Earlier police used to reach the spot immediately…. But now the role of police is not satisfactory.”
