AGARTALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): A stretch of road connecting Sekerkot to Kanchonmala has become impassable due to poor construction work, leaving commuters stranded and vulnerable to accidents.

The road, which was being widened for the IOCL Project, has turned into a quagmire following recent rains, making it difficult for vehicles to navigate.

Locals blame the construction company for not taking adequate measures to ensure safe passage, despite the ongoing work. Auto-rickshaw drivers have reportedly stopped plying the route, citing safety concerns. Passengers are facing significant hardship, and there are fears of accidents if the situation is not addressed urgently.
