AGARTALA, Oct 21 (TIWN): Devotees on Tuesday gathered at Kali temple in Agartala, historically known as Meher Kalibari.

The auspicious rituals dedicated in the name of Goddess Kali started from Monday 3.46 PM and it ended at 5.55 PM on Tuesday.

Unlike other Kali temples, the puja is always organized on the daytime of the new moon.

Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumder visited the temple and worshiped. The Mayor is also an MLA of Ramnagar and the temple falls in his area.
