AGARTALA, Oct 8 (TIWN): Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee slammed Tripura BJP after her party delegations were stopped at Agartala MBB Airport on Wednesday. "You talk about Democracy and stop elected MPs at the Airport? I was informed about it and I asked them to walk by foot. If it is needed I will visit Tripura. Let's see how much BJP's autocracy works," said Mamata Banerjee. "If your MLAs, MPs do not visit their areas and do not keep connection with the locals, what is our fault there?" said Banerjee referring to attacks on BJP leaders by local public in West Bengal following which the Tripura BJP protested and vandalized Agartala Trinamool party office.
"But that's why you won't allow our delegations to visit Tripura ? When our members earlier also were attacked in Tripura, where was your advice then ?" she asked.
