TELIAMURA, Sep 29 (TIWN): In a tragic incident, a woman died in a road accident while riding on her husband’s scooty on Baramura National Highway under Teliamura subdivision.

Mangal Debbarma, resident of Jirania, NIT area’s Ram Dayal Para was going with his wife Soma Rani Debbarma on his scooty. They went to Teliamura’s Twisindra area. While returning, their scooty met with a head-on collision with an oil-carrying tanker. 

In this mishap, Soma Rani Debbarma died on spot and Mangal Debbarma was hospitalized. 

Teliamura hospital’s on-duty doctor Ajit Debbarma after ECG declared her dead. Soma Rani Debbarma’s dead body has been taken for post mortem.
