AGARTALA, Sep 16 (TIWN): In a significant breakthrough, investigators have recovered the knife used in the murder of a housewife from the Muhuri River in Tripura. The victim, Kana Debnath Das, a resident of Belonia Satmurah, was killed in a brutal incident that shook the local community.
The recovery was made possible by the confession of the accused, Mohammad Miah and Dulan Das, who led the investigators to the location where the weapon was hidden. In their presence, the police retrieved the knife from beneath the Ratan Mani bridge on the Muhuri River.
