AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): A severe landslide has blocked the Kailashahar-Kumaraghat National Highway 208, causing immense distress to daily commuters. The incident occurred around 3 am today in the Santipur school area due to heavy rainfall, which has been battering Unakoti district.

Nearby houses and the school premises are also affected, with mud and debris scattered everywhere. Another road in the area has been rendered impassable, stranding many passengers who were traveling from Kailashahar to Kumaraghat railway station.
