AGARTALA, Sep 3 (TIWN): Trouble with Donated Vehicles --- GB Hospital's Electric Golf Carts Face Engine Failure !!! The both electric vehicles were donated by BJP MP Rajib Bhattacharjee but for over a month, the vehicles are not functioning which has left the services affected, ultimately.

A senior medical officer expressed frustration over the non-functional vehicles, stating that despite numerous outreach efforts to various officials, including the District Magistrate's office, and individuals in the repair sector, no meaningful assistance has been forthcoming.

The doctor earnestly appealed to the authorities to intervene and facilitate the necessary repairs, emphasizing that this would enable patients to greatly benefit from the vehicles as originally intended.

The officer recalled, "When we approached the MP for vehicles, he kindly donated them from his fund, showcasing his commitment to improving healthcare services. However, now that they're not working due to engine failures, we're facing an unfortunate lack of support. Regrettably, the manufacturing company is also not cooperating, which further complicates our efforts to get these vehicles back in operational condition."
