AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): In a significant development, the former booth president of the BJP, Dipen Debbarma, along with 11 members from two families, has joined the TIPRA Motha party. The joining ceremony took place at the party's office in Charilam constituency, near the Bishramganj mini stadium.

The new members were welcomed into the party by Charilam block president Budh Debbarma, TIPRA Women's Federation leader Shyamali Debbarma, and Dipali Debbarma, among others. The newly joined members pledged to work for the TIPRA Motha party and support it in the upcoming ADC elections on 26.

This development is seen as a boost to the TIPRA Motha party's efforts to strengthen its presence in the region. The party is gearing up for the ADC elections, and the addition of new members is expected to play a crucial role in its campaign.
